March Events

In March we hosted several great events including 2 weddings, 2 rehearsal dinners, a QDMA banquet, a surprise retirement party, and a Relay for Life fundraiser. Here’s a look into our two weddings:

Dena & Matthew 3.4.17

^^I missed taking a picture during the ceremony, but I was able to catch the love birds as they came back down the aisle! I also caught a picture of the ceremony area as the sun was going down.

^^Mini Corndogs-a crowd favorite!

Cathy & Dylan 3.25.17

^^Such a unique “cake table”- Donuts and mini cupcakes with coffee setup nearby!

One weekend I took a break from hosting an event at the farm to host a very special event for a very special gal! As matron of honor for my best friend’s upcoming wedding, I had the privilege of hosting her bachelorette party in Charleston- or as we called it her “Charlestorette Party”. Anyone out there in the middle of planning their own bachelorette party? I highly recommend Charleston! There’s so much to do, many places to see, and who says no to Charleston?

Since it was March, and still a little chilly, we couldn’t take advantage of the beaches or water activities so we took a short drive to Wadmalaw Island to tour Firefly Distillery and Deep Water Vineyards.

Dressed in our matching sparkly pineapple monogram t shirts, we toured the grounds, participated in tastings, and enjoyed hanging out under a canopy of oak trees listening to live music and sipping on wine slushies! I highly recommend this place, not only for a bachelorette party, but for anyone, anytime- I definitely want to return!!

Then of course, that night we got all dressed up and hit the town to celebrate the bride-to-be! It was such a fun weekend and I was so glad I had the chance to make it all happen!
